1. When choosing a process, we must consider the operating conditions. Here, we can choose the appropriate sealing form, as well as its materials and installation structure.

2. The selection of sealing components generally needs to consider working conditions such as temperature, pressure, and medium. Other parts also need to consider the characteristics of the equipment itself and the selection of sealing components.

3. Regarding temperature, such as sealing materials, the working temperature range of NBR materials is generally 40 ± 120 degrees Celsius. If it exceeds 120 degrees, you would consider FKM or even polytetrafluoroethylene. Low temperature is relatively rare. Generally speaking, when the temperature is between 20 and 40 degrees, cold nitrile rubber should be considered. Generally, nitrile rubber materials will harden and leak in low temperature environments.

4. For pressure, it affects the choice of sealing form. Generally speaking, low-pressure and medium pressure rubber or PU seals are not a major issue. But we need to consider the issue of impact pressure, such as the impact pressure during the start-up and shutdown of construction machinery being much greater than the normal working pressure, and frequent use of pressure up to 70Mpa, which can cause collapse or gap HByPGW to make the main seal. PTFE combination sealing is also a common choice.

5. The media issue is relatively simple. Special issues such as water, ethylene glycol, and phosphate hydraulic oil are often used in the metallurgical industry. Although the working temperature is not high, the choice of sealing module material or very careful use of hydraulic oil, or FKM, is preferred.
